Job Title: Support Worker Cardiff

Estimated Salary:£25,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a welcoming primary school in Cardiff. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with children who require additional support, providing 1:1 supervision and helping them access the curriculum.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with additional learning needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Prepare resources and materials for lessons
  • Liaise with parents and other professionals to ensure seamless support
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support children with special educational needs

Requirements:

  • Level 2 (or above) Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Right to Work in the UK
