Job Title: Senior Traffic Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our Development Management Implementation (DMI) Team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the delivery of highway design and transport planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on highway design and transport planning projects
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in highway design and transport planning, ideally with a local authority or private sector developer
  • Proven project management skills, including staff management and budgeting
  • Strong technical knowledge of highway design and transport planning principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
