About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Letchworth. The successful candidate will work closely with our senior team of experts to provide high-quality support to students with complex and severe special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Utilize learning schemes to progress student learning
  • Report back to parents and teachers on student progress
  • Support students' physical, social, and emotional well-being
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people
  • 2 professional references to reference recent work with SEN children
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to make one
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
