We are currently expanding our Theatre team at Oaks Hospital, a leading NHS and private patient service provider in England. As a Recovery Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care in the recovery area.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with theatre staff.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills, ensuring patient needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

As a Recovery Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality patient care in the recovery area, prioritizing patient needs and responding promptly to emergencies.
  • Collaborating with theatre staff to ensure seamless transitions and efficient recovery processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current registration with the NMC or HCPC.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
  • Flexible and positive attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Previous experience working in a Theatre team, preferably in a recovery setting.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, which includes:

  • An estimated annual salary of £45,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.
