Ensure Compliance and Standards

Oversee health, safety, environment, quality, and reliability standards, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Support Employees in Achieving These Standards

Coach, train, and allocate resources to ensure employees meet these standards.

Asset Quality and Reliability

Lead the Progressive Maintenance (PM) pillar, ensuring the continuous improvement of the factory's assets.

Contribute to Site Leadership and Strategic Direction

Play a key role in site leadership, contributing to the overall strategic direction and success of the site.

Strategic Engineering Leadership

Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with the brewery and broader business goals.

Manage Budgets, Capital Plans, and Long-Term Planning

Ensure the engineering department meets or exceeds annual targets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science or Engineering; Chartered Engineer status is required.
  • Practical engineering qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship are highly valued.
  • Senior leadership experience within a Head of Engineering role, with strong exposure to food/beverage manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in coaching across all levels using the learn-do-teach principle.
  • Extensive experience in implementing World Class Supply Chain processes in fast-moving consumer goods or chemical environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing cost management.
