Junior Service Engineer

£30,000 - £40,000 + Circa £10,000 bonus + 5% pension + life insurance + private health care + smartphone.

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is working with a market-leading machine tool manufacturer renowned for their state-of-the-art Japanese engineering technology, sliding head lathes, CNC machinery, and turnkey solutions.

The company predominantly services industries within the medical, electric vehicle, and aerospace sectors, providing sliding head lathe solutions for the manufacture of complex components.

They are seeking multi-skilled junior engineers from a CNC maintenance apprenticeship to join their dynamic and growing team. They are committed to the continual development of their staff and provide excellent training and internal opportunities for progression to keep you motivated.

The Role:
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service to a range of blue-chip clients and SMEs.
  • Provide breakdown cover and work on installation projects.
  • Complete booked servicing on their impressive range of sliding head lathe CNC machinery.
  • Receive training on the installations and commissioning of the sliding head lathe.
  • Experience as a junior Service/Servicing engineer within a machine tool environment or similar is desired but not essential.
  • The successful candidate must be multi-skilled and able to operate on an electrical and mechanical level to a high standard.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance at a junior level.
  • Time-served Apprenticeships, degree, or equivalent engineering qualification.
