About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Support Worker to assist an individual with cerebral palsy. The successful candidate will provide personal care, support with daily activities, and promote independence.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care, including toileting, showering, and getting dressed
  • Support the individual to take medication
  • Accompany the individual to school, work, or social activities
  • Promote socialization and encourage participation in activities
  • Develop a good working relationship with the individual
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be honest, reliable, and trustworthy. They will have previous caring experience and be able to work flexibly. A patient and supportive attitude is essential.

Training

The successful candidate will be required to undertake Moving and Handling training and First Aid training. The employer will provide this training.
