Lead Maths Education Improvement

Initio Learning Trust is seeking a visionary Maths Education Leader to drive subject-specific improvement across multiple schools in the South West of England.

This role will be based across our Trust secondary schools, working closely with a team of subject directors to:

  • Develop and implement strategic curriculum leadership to raise standards in Maths.
  • Deliver high-quality CPD and targeted support to empower departments to improve student progress and attainment.
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to teaching, learning, and assessment, while developing and aligning curricula across all secondary schools in the trust.
  • Model outstanding teaching in one of our trust schools.

We are seeking an educational leader who:

  • Has a proven track record of raising standards in secondary education, particularly in Maths.
  • Is passionate about curriculum and teacher development, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Demonstrates outstanding teaching practice in their subject.
  • Shares our values of ambition, collaboration, and respect and is eager to contribute to our vision of educational excellence.
