This is an exciting opportunity to join the A-rated Stroke pathway at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist. The successful applicant will rotate through all sites, delivering high-quality care as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team in Stroke and Neurology.
Main Duties of the JobAs a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, the post holder will play a key role in ongoing service review, development, and delivery across the Trust's stroke and neurology pathways. The successful applicant will have opportunities to participate in quality improvement and innovation projects, contributing to the education, training, and development of Band 5 Therapists, Therapy Assistants, and multidisciplinary staff.

The successful applicant will be part of the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Regional Stroke Service, working together to provide high-quality and timely treatment and care for anyone who has a stroke in the region.
Person Specification- Ability to present information in a clear, accurate, and logical manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude
- Flexibility in approach to working
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The successful applicant will have 18 months of experience working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, in addition to postgraduate experience in Stroke and Neurology. They will support the Clinical leads, Therapy manager, and existing Band 6 Occupational Therapists with the operational management of Occupational Therapy across the stroke and neurology pathway.
