About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Risk Assessment Specialist to join our Programme and Project Management team. As a key member of our Rail Consultancy business, you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. You'll also collaborate with clients from various sectors, including highways, aviation, new build, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • You'll work closely with project and programme teams to implement effective risk management processes, ensuring integration with other project management and control disciplines.
  • You'll provide support to the Service Capability Leader for Risk Management in developing service capability, including risk analyses, quality assurance, and drafting reports and delivering scope of work in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory, and planning controls.
  • You'll help deliver some of the biggest and most iconic projects imaginable, working with the best talent in the industry.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant professional qualification, such as APM Risk Certificate or IRM Certificate (or working towards).
  • Experience in the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in applying Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) techniques and tools, including @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Safran.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management tools, such as Active Risk Manager, Predict, and Xactium.
  • Understanding of construction contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions.
  • Evidence of previous experience in defining and delivering risk management plans within projects.
  • A collaborative working style and consulting approach to clients.
  • A logical approach to complex issues and ability to coordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
