Are you a skilled mathematical modeller looking to join a prestigious team at BAE Systems? We have an exciting opportunity for a Radar Systems Modeller to work on complex radar systems, utilising your expertise in mathematical modelling and simulation.

Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled mathematical modeller to join our team, with experience in developing algorithmic and design solutions for complex radar systems.
  • You will be responsible for conducting system performance analysis and design trade-offs of principal system parameters, to characterise and define system design constraints and limitations in various operational scenarios.
  • As a key member of our team, you will support multi-disciplined engineering teams in the realisation, implementation, verification and validation of algorithmic and design solutions for deployable radar systems.
Requirements
  • A strong mathematical and engineering mindset, with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of mathematical simulation tools/languages (e.g. Mathworks MATLAB, Simulink, Pearl, Python, MathCAD).
  • An understanding of factors that can affect the real world performance of radar systems and how these can impact modelled or simulated performance prediction.

Salary: Circa £55,000 dependent on experience.
Location: Isle of Wight.
