Job Title: Azure Engineer

At PayPoint plc, we are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to join our team. As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular performance assessments
  • Manage and enforce security and compliance best practices within the Azure environment
  • Monitor and analyze cloud spending and recommend cost-saving measures
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or in a similar role with a deep understanding of Azure services, architecture, and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and compliance standards
  • Experience with Azure cost management and budgeting tools, as well as implementing cost-saving measures
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform
