Job Title: Financial Risk Modelling Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Risk Modelling Senior Manager to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Institutional Retirement division, you will play a critical role in delivering financial risk metrics and implementing associated models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of financial risk modelling, including IFRS 17 sensitivities, Solvency II / Solvency UK sensitivities, ALM management information, and MA portfolio tests.
  • Develop and run stress tests and 'what if' scenarios to review the effect on our SCR.
  • Review results and assess the risks faced by the business.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to mitigate risks and reduce exposure to serious events.
  • Collaborate with the internal model team to develop and run stress tests.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Actuary with experience in Life Insurance.
  • Strong technical understanding of Solvency II and capital reporting.
  • Experience in running SSTs.
  • Good capital modelling experience.
  • Strong understanding of SCR and associated regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of leading actuarial teams.
