Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage projects to implement process improvements, ensuring timely completion and effective results.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to production staff, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective systems and processes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the purchase and application of machine tools, controls, and related equipment to ensure the latest technology is being used to increase efficiency and economy of operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to established quality standards, policies, and practices, including APQP/PPAP interpretation and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience within manufacturing of sheet metal, fabrication, or welded assemblies, with a strong background in process improvement and project management.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, APQP/PPAP interpretation and recommendations, demonstrable improvements on processes and process optimization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Working Conditions:

This role is inside IR35, and the pay rate is £33 - £35 /hr FCSA Umbrella, depending on experience and qualifications.
