Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team: Manage a team of 4 internal sales engineers and 1 external account manager to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Develop strategic relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the automotive industry, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies.
  • Technical solution development: Work with our engineering and design teams to develop tailored technical solutions for clients.
  • Account development: Develop and execute account development strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • New business development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
  • Reporting and analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the Managing Director to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record of selling technical services into the automotive industry, with experience of managing a sales team and developing strategic relationships.
  • Qualifications: Engineering qualification (not essential) and a strong understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present at board level and work effectively with engineering teams.
  • Personal qualities: Strategic thinker, team player, and results-driven individual with a strong work ethic.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £75,000 - £90,000 (negotiable) plus car allowance, annual bonus, and benefits.
