Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at CA Tech Talent. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, ensuring the best value while maintaining compliance with industry standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Activities: Source and purchase materials for projects, ensuring the best value and compliance with industry standards and project schedules.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms to meet budget and quality requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstock, ensuring procurement activities remain within budget.
  • Procurement Records: Maintain accurate procurement records, work towards standardisation across projects, and identify opportunities for improving procurement efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management; a Bachelor's degree or professional certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills, along with proficiency in procurement software.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction or engineering industries, including relevant standards and regulations, is desirable.
