Award-Winning Business Seeks Accounts Assistant
This temporary opportunity has arisen to support an award-winning business in Portsmouth. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in the finance team, covering maternity leave on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
About the Position:
- You will be responsible for matching and processing high-volume purchase ledger invoices, staff expenses, and assisting with sales ledger as required.
- You will work closely with the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and the wider finance team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices accurately.
- Reconcile supplier statements, requesting copy invoices as needed.
- Support the weekly payment run.
- Staff expenses and credit card reconciliations.
- Raising of sales ledger invoices.
What We Offer:
- Estimated salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays, Christmas shutdown.
- Hybrid working after training, 2 days from home.
- Free onsite parking.
- Large facility site with food outlets and supermarket.
