We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meeting and Events Operations Supervisor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our meeting and events department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the set-up and breakdown of large-scale conferences, dinners, and events
- Supervise the set-up and breakdown of smaller meeting/conference rooms
- Act as the main point of contact for conference and events organizers
- Handle customer and client complaints and resolve issues efficiently
- Take charge of running smaller-scale conferences, dinners, and events in the absence of senior meeting and events management
- Supervise team members in areas covering performance, personal presentation, and timekeeping
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel meeting and events department
- Previous experience in liaising with meeting and event organizers/clients
- Previous experience in serving food while adhering to food safety and allergens laws
