Composite Laminator Technician

Company: Silverstone Composites

We are seeking skilled Laminators with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the composite industry, to join our team at Silverstone Composites.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing patterns and moulds by sealing and applying release agents
  • Undertaking vacuum bagging procedures for tooling and components
  • Operating and loading ovens and/or autoclaves for curing laminated materials
  • Actively participating in manufacturing initiatives to improve workplace efficiency and organisation
  • Maintaining traceability and a safe, clean, and tidy working environment at all times

Requirements:

  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Logical reasoning and a pro-active "can do" attitude
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and following laminating manuals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
