Procurement Training Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Training Manager to join our team at Michael Page. This exciting opportunity will see you develop and deliver training programs for procurement specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance procurement capabilities.
  • Lead procurement activities and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and identify procurement opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in procurement processes.
  • Evaluate and ensure value for money in all procurement activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement with a focus on training and development.
  • Membership or studying towards a membership of CIPS or equivalent institution.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of procurement principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive effective procurement strategies.
