Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the pharmacy dispensary team, including coordinating controlled drug audits and acting as a mentor for junior staff members.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the pharmacy team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and contribute to the delivery of high-quality dispensary services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate controlled drug audits on wards and clinical areas
  • Act as a mentor for junior staff members, providing guidance and support
  • Participate in the South West Accuracy Checking programme
  • Undertake medicines management training

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC and have experience working in a dispensary environment.

Working Pattern

The successful candidate will be required to work full-time hours, which can be worked flexibly as agreed at the interview.
