### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Consultant in Older People's Medicine to join our team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medicine Directorate, you will play a vital role in promoting leadership, quality improvement, and innovative service delivery in our Older Peoples Medicine services.

### Key Responsibilities

* Contribute to the organisation and running of the Older Peoples Medicine services, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
* Assist the Medicine Directorate, Manager, and Clinical Director in the timely investigation of complaints and translate these into opportunities for service improvement.
* Participate in all aspects of Clinical Governance, making a significant contribution to multidisciplinary audit and risk management activities.
