Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at BaxterStorey. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.

• Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Employee Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
• Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and ensuring that their expectations are consistently met.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety protocols, and policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage kitchen budgets, reporting on financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize profitability.
• Menu Development and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, incorporating new ideas and concepts into menus to maintain a competitive edge.
• Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
• Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
• Leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
