Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Eye Care Practitioner to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with eye conditions, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the delivery of evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. As a valued member of our team, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of techniques and technology, participate in CPD activities, and adhere to Trust policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with various eye conditions, including post-operative risks and visual field defects.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct orthoptic vision screening in primary schools across the Bradford Metropolitan Area, ensuring seamless care pathways.
  • Maintain accurate records, provide clinical reports, and contribute to data collection efforts.

Salary and Benefits
A minimum salary of £33,000 per annum is offered, commensurate with experience, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development, CPD support, and flexible working arrangements.
