About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Information Analyst to join their Data Flows team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing analytics, data, and reporting to support the Trust's business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for creating and managing reporting for billing, data analysis, and visualizations using patient-based data sets and business intelligence reporting software. You will work closely with the IT development and finance teams to support the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of key trust patient activity.

Requirements

  • Good planning, analytical, administrative, and numerate abilities.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage and prioritize own workload and work to often tight or pressured deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educated to degree standard in a numerate discipline or has the relevant work-based experience.
  • Experience working in an information analysis or reporting-focused role.
  • Able to demonstrate use of corporate databases and multi-user environments for reporting and dataset production to a high standard.
