Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Join Acosta Europe, a leading sales and marketing agency, as a Regional Sales Manager and drive brand awareness and sales for our partner Nestlé Confectionery.

Role Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Field Sales Executives to deliver operational KPIs and drive commercial development initiatives. You will work closely with the National Field Manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Agree business objectives and KPIs with the line manager for the Field Sales Executive team.
  • Carry out monthly team meetings to discuss results, provide training, and give direction on key strategic priorities.
  • Conduct individual performance appraisals and implement personal development plans.
  • Ensure the team's achievement of ROI, sales, and distribution across each period.
  • Responsible for driving KPI achievement of each Field Sales Executive.
  • Maintain the Field Team's satisfaction and retention.
  • Responsible for the training and development of Field Sales Executives.
  • Keep abreast of trends, news, and information concerning the industry and market.
  • Prepare and carry out high-profile store visits with the client to maximise future opportunities.
  • Regular analysis of team performance in conjunction with data insights and production of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensure all Field Sales Executives complete mandatory Acosta University modules.
  • Ensure all Field Sales Executives have a full understanding of each retailer's expected standards of performance and conduct within store.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of the ENGAGE script and phone operation to optimise data capture.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Lost Sales Value Shopping list for the purpose of driving team performance.
  • Continuous monitoring of the Field Sales Executive budget to ensure it is not exceeded.
  • Calculation of the Field Team's bonus subject to account budget and their performance and achievement across the period.
  • Validation of field results by carrying out the specified number of audits required by the current field-audit procedure.
  • Control and maintenance of records for all equipment and company property allocated to the Field Team.
