About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at Haymarket Media Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the business in achieving its financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the production of all monthly and annual financial reports for Haymarket Business Media (HBM)
  • Contribute to the effective running of HBM as a member of the Executive Team
  • Attend quarterly Board Meetings with Senior Haymarket Management
  • Collaborate with HBM managers to complete annual budgets and 3-year business plans
  • Present financial information to executive stakeholders across the group
  • Develop and maintain successful working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Attend and contribute to local business meetings
  • Continuously seek ways to improve internal financial reporting and control processes
  • Challenge business assumptions and support the business in catering for uncertainty
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA etc)
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience of seeking and implementing ways to improve current practice
  • Conscientious, accurate, and methodical approach to work
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive approach to work
