Join Our Team as a Financial Planning and Strategy Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Strategy expert to join our team at the National Physical Laboratory. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the success of our large-scale programs.

About the Role

As our Head of Financial Planning and Strategy, you will be responsible for leading and delivering our financial strategy to achieve our goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide strategic leadership and ensure that our decisions are backed by accurate financial modeling and planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and success
  • Lead and manage a team of financial planning and analysis professionals
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to stakeholders on financial matters
  • Ensure accurate financial modeling and planning to inform business decisions
  • Work closely with the CFO to provide analysis and information ahead of board meetings
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant with a strong background in financial planning and strategy. You will have excellent analytical and numerical skills, as well as strong commercial awareness and expertise in financial modeling and consolidation. You will also have excellent engagement, relationship building, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
