About the Role: We are seeking a High Voltage Technician to join our team in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and defect rectification, with a strong understanding of high voltage systems. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical testing, executing various crimping techniques and soldering, and installing, testing, and maintaining communications equipment such as VHF radios, Intercom, GPS, and AIS.

A strong background in Marine, Offshore, Construction, or Manufacturing environment is highly desirable, as is safety certification such as SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, and working at height. The role offers a competitive salary of £34,640 (with the potential for shift allowance) and a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.

You will work alongside 40 electrical fitters and 30 apprentices in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing support to the Royal Navy Warship fleet through upgrades, maintenance, and support periods. National and international travel may be required in line with the role demands.
