Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled CPU Architect to join IC Resources, a leading technology company, in a role that could be based in one of our UK offices. Our company has been recognized as one of the World's Best Employers and offers highly competitive salaries.

In this position, the CPU Architect will be responsible for driving research and development on Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) and CPU architecture, modeling, and random test generation, focusing on the RISC-V architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CPU architecture designs and models
  • Design and develop random test generation tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CPU architecture with other system components
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CPU architecture and RISC-V

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in Digital ASIC Design and CPU development
  • Strong understanding of CPU instruction set architecture and CPU cores
  • Familiarity with Python and C/C++ programming languages
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
