About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity at BAE Systems will see you play a key role in delivering a significant project, contributing to the establishment of new facilities for the SSNA submarine.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Performance Management Baseline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, comprising internal staff and external partners, to deliver projects effectively.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the programme Risk Management team, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating clear communication across all levels of the programme team.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage complex projects, incorporating requirement capture and delivery via construction contractors.
Your Background:
  • Relevant degree in Construction/Project Management or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of project controls, general management, and stakeholder engagement principles.
  • Proven expertise in contract management (NEC3 or NEC4), with a track record of informed decision-making.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and efficient project delivery.
  • Desirable: IOSH or ISSSTS certification.
