A bit about the role:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the safe delivery of change in Finance operational areas.
This role works in partnership with Finance Change SMEs and the Testing/PMO function to ensure that best practice controls are operated throughout the change delivery cycle and that the change agenda is delivered to time, budget, and expected quality standards.
Effective management of stakeholders (within F&IO and the across the wider Finance community and broader business areas) is a vital part of this role, either through regular steering committees, routine MI or risk forums.
Alongside strong change management skills, this role will require an understanding of Finance Operational processes such as Banking and Payments, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Unit Pricing and Investment Reporting.
Key skills and experience:
- Successful Finance Operations project/programme delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals to ambitious timelines, while maintaining strong risk management controls.
- Tight budget consciousness with clearly defined and maintained cost and resource profile.
- Problem-solving through having the right attributes, seeking continuous improvement, optimisation, and automation in the Finance Operations function.
- Create simple, practical solutions through great communication and translation of requirements and creative thinking.
- Senior stakeholder reporting at regular cadences to support decision making.
