The Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commis Chef to join our Kitchen Team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Chef de Partie and support daily operations to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare vegetables, meats, and fish to the highest standards.
  • Assist with ordering and stock management to ensure sufficient supplies.
  • Ensure all food served meets the required standards.
  • Follow all food hygiene regulations and promote a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of regular monthly menus using fresh ingredients.
  • Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere in the kitchen, leading by example and assisting colleagues as needed.
  • Help train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards.
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines.
