About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our client's in-house legal function in South Wales and the Southwest. As a strategic member of the team, you will provide commercial advice to senior stakeholders across the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Counsel in providing commercial advice to stakeholders from across the business, including Procurement, Regulation, Health and Safety, Net Zero, HR, and Infrastructure, Estates, and Operations.
  • Draft and negotiate Construction Contracts and Commercial Agreements.
  • Provide strategic and commercially sensitive advice on Data Protection, Procurement Regulations, Commercial Disputes, and Property Disputes.
  • Support the business in managing risk and regulatory obligations in the utility and energy sectors.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Commercial, Projects, or Construction Lawyer with a strong background in in-house or high-quality national or regional law firms. You will have exposure to advising clients in the energy and utilities sectors.
