About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our client's in-house legal function in South Wales and the Southwest. As a strategic member of the team, you will provide timely commercial advice to senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Counsel in providing a broad range of commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic and commercially sensitive advice on Data Protection, Procurement Regulations, Commercial Disputes, and Property Disputes.
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating Construction Contracts and Commercial Agreements.
  • Offer legal support to the business, influencing senior-level decisions and providing robust advice on risk management and regulatory obligations.
Requirements

We are looking for a first-class technical lawyer with broad experience across the energy and utilities sectors. You will have experience in-house or at a high-quality national or regional law firm, with exposure to advising clients in the utilities and energy sectors.
