About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Claims Technician to join our Commercial Major & Complex loss team in the North West and Yorkshire region. As a Claims Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Adjusters in managing a caseload of commercial claims of varying value and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Adjusters in managing complex and larger losses in excess of £100,000.
  • Manage a caseload of desktop losses on selected commercial accounts.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of the claim.
  • Have first-class communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be competent in IT skills and maintain electronic and paper files to a high auditable standard.
  • Liaise with other internal product lines/departments as required.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and complete case enquiries as directed by the adjuster.
  • Provide assistance on site, including minute taking of meetings, preparation of the action plan, taking statements/photographs etc. as directed.
  • Accurately record daily time and deliver a high proportion of chargeable hours demonstrating technical competence.
