Job Title: Nurse Lead Educational Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Lead Educational Development Manager to join our team at Beacon Medical Group. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing educational programs for nurses and healthcare professionals across the organization.
The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience, excellent clinical and professional expertise, and a proven track record of applying audit and evidence-based nursing practice. You will be responsible for assessing competency in others, dealing with issues of risk management within the clinical context, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking individual to lead and manage educational nurse programs, develop and implement competency-based frameworks, and promote excellence in practice through education, leadership, advice, and support.

Beacon Medical Group is a single practice, Primary Care Network (PCN), providing care to 43,000 patients across Plympton and the South Hams. We are a team of Partners, Salaried GPs, Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, , Practice and specialist Nurses, HCAs, Phlebotomists, First Contact Physios, Social Prescribers, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Practitioners, and Administrative support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nurses and healthcare professionals
- Assess competency in others and ensure patient safety and well-being
- Lead and manage educational nurse programs
- Develop and implement competency-based frameworks
- Promote excellence in practice through education, leadership, advice, and support
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Plympton and the South Hams
