CNC Turner Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our engineering team as a CNC Turner. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming CNC Lathe machinery, designing and manufacturing Jigs/Fixtures/Tooling, conducting quality checks on machined parts, and reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program CNC Lathe machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Design and manufacture Jigs/Fixtures/Tooling using CAD software.
  • Conduct quality checks on machined parts to ensure high standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to accurately plan and execute tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in programming online and offline for CNC Lathe machines.
  • Experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist with strong understanding of machine operations.
  • Familiarity with Fusion 360 and Fanuc control systems advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus a permanent position with opportunities for professional development.
