Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical and Electrical Service Specialist at Connected Search Group Ltd, you will be responsible for refurbishing and modernising overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment. You will install, inspect, test, and commission overhead cranes and gantries, as well as jib cranes. You will conduct PPM and identify potential mechanical and electrical issues using our reporting system.

You will perform SFU and/or project modernisation work related to crane conversion or refurbishment. In emergency situations, you will attend breakdowns, identify faults, and carry out effective repairs. Documenting all site visits is also crucial.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with OHETCs, a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comprehensive training and a company van will be provided. The estimated salary for this position is £55,000-£70,000 per annum, based on experience.
