Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with SEMH needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement personalized support plans.
- Build trusting and positive relationships with students to support their emotional and academic development.
- Foster a collaborative environment with both staff and students to promote a supportive learning experience.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEMH or SEN is preferable.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff.
- Resilient and reliable, with a calm and patient approach.
- A passion for making a real difference in the lives of children.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting (preferably with SEN/SEMH children).
- A positive, empathetic attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work as part of a team, while also showing initiative.
