**About the Role**

We are recruiting a Lead Social Work Practitioner to join our team in London. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in social work and a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to children and families.

The role involves working with complex cases, developing care plans, and providing support to student social workers and newly qualified social workers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide effective social work services to children and their families
  • Hold a caseload of complex children deemed to be at high risk of significant harm through exploitative situations
  • Record work to a high standard, capturing the voice of the child, and demonstrate analysis and reflection
  • Share specialist social work knowledge and research across the social work unit
  • Work within the London Child Protection procedures to undertake key work responsibilities for children subject to a child protection plan
  • Formulate and progress care plans in line with national and local procedures
