Job Title: Effluent Treatment Plant Operator

At Involve Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Effluent Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As an essential part of our operations, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a new Water Treatment Plant. Your primary goal will be to ensure trade effluent discharge complies with environmental standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain effluent treatment equipment, including inspections, cleaning, and testing to prevent any operational issues.

* Monitor plant processes to guarantee efficiency and make necessary adjustments accordingly.

* Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot operational problems promptly.

* Manage waste handling, disposal, and chemical stock control effectively.

* Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with environmental standards.

* Maintain plant housekeeping and support daily operations smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

* A minimum of previous experience in effluent treatment plant operations or similar roles is required.

* Knowledge of DAF clarifiers, water testing, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable.

* COSHH and pump repair knowledge would be advantageous.

* Forklift truck certification would also be beneficial.

* Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

* Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to challenges are must-haves.
