Effluent Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Effluent Treatment Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of a new Water Treatment Plant, ensuring trade effluent discharge complies with environmental standards.

About the Role:
  • Operate and maintain effluent treatment equipment, including inspections, cleaning, and testing.
  • Monitor plant processes to ensure efficiency and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Manage waste handling, disposal, and chemical stock control.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with environmental standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in effluent treatment plant operations or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of DAF clarifiers, water testing, and equipment maintenance.
  • COSHH and pump repair knowledge (desirable).
  • Forklift truck certification (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
Competitive Salary and Benefits:
