About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy delivery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of drivers and pickers, ensuring they meet their daily targets and providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery department operates in compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a consistent approach with all team members.

Communicate important management information to relevant team members, ensuring they are informed and up-to-date.

Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues and customers, reporting any health and safety concerns to the store management team.

Promote and drive brand image through knowledge of products, excellent customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.

Support the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.

Supervise, plan, and coordinate tasks to ensure effective and timely completion.

You Will Need

Experience in supervising a small to medium-sized team, preferably in a warehouse or transport environment.

Proven track record of working in a customer-focused environment.

Management CPC would be advantageous.
