Job Title: Global Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Cybersecurity Strategist to lead our cybersecurity and IT functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our cybersecurity strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and overseeing the company's security policies, audit procedures, and IT requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Manage IT security audits, oversee end-to-end audit cycles, and ensure continuous improvement by addressing gaps identified during audits.
  3. Design and implement security controls within the software development lifecycle and promote security best practices within the Engineering team.
  4. Develop and deliver monitoring systems to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  5. Lead the company's security incident management and response procedures to protect IT assets and uphold the company's reputation.
  6. Manage security solutions and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  7. Promote a culture of security by design and implement an education and awareness strategy for the organization.
  8. Integrate security plans and policies with the company's business processes.
  9. Oversee the security training program, ensuring all employees are compliant with security standards.
  10. Develop and monitor strategies to strengthen the company's security posture and understand threat environments.
Requirements:
  1. 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services environment.
  2. Familiarity with SOC2, ISO27001, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent.
  3. Experience with public cloud providers, software delivery lifecycle, GitOps, or CI/CD tooling.
  4. Strong background in threat analysis, risk assessment, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
  5. Solid experience in information security and understanding of ISMS.
  6. Knowledge of data privacy and protection legislation.
  7. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks effectively and drive process improvement.
