Job Title: Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Strategist to join our team at Bloomberg LP. As a key member of our Information Security group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic security initiatives to protect our products, services, and customer data.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, with experience in risk management, compliance, and incident response. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, develop security policies and procedures, and implement security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic security initiatives to protect Bloomberg LP's products, services, and customer data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Implement security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
  • Work with stakeholders to effectively manage cyber risk, including consulting on security controls, mitigation strategies, and incident response planning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and incident response.
  • Strong technical knowledge in key cybersecurity domains, including cloud security, network security, and architecture.
  • Experience working with industry standards, such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve success.
  • Proven delivery of complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
