As a Contract Manager at Challenge-TRG Recruitment, you will play a key role in ensuring a strong, effective and profitable delivery of recruitment services. You will work closely with clients to promote productivity, quality, H&S and people objectives, consistently delivering the Company and Group mission, vision, values and strategy.



Key Responsibilities


  • Leadership and Management: You will be responsible for managing a team, setting targets and objectives to ensure service delivery meets agreed SLA/KPIs. You will be approachable, receptive and supportive, motivating and inspiring team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Workforce Planning: You will continuously review client needs to ensure adequate resource and skills. You will utilise best practice recruitment processes to recruit high calibre individuals who meet the client's requirements.
  • Team Development: You will onboard new starters according to Company standards, providing consistent and regular performance coaching and review. You will complete PDRs with direct reports every 6 months and prioritise training solutions for development needs.
  • Forecasting and Labour Market Management: You will obtain and understand client labour requirements, developing a comprehensive understanding of the local labour market. You will plan recruitment and manage the labour pool to ensure candidate flow and fill rates.
  • Relationship Management: You will build and maintain a strategic relationship with the client, gaining a thorough understanding of their issues, goals and desires. You will identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce services from other Group brands.
  • Compliance and H&S: You will ensure all activities meet Company and client policy, procedure and relevant legislation, driving and promoting good health and safety practices. You will conduct regular audits to ensure 100% conformance.
  • Colleague Management, Support and Welfare: You will foster a culture of fairness, transparency and consistency, monitoring conduct, performance and attendance. You will be approachable and resolve complaints/queries without delay.
  • Customer Focus: You will embed and promote a customer-centric orientation within the team, ensuring an exceptional experience for the client and colleagues.
  • Budget Responsibility: You will develop the annual budget with the line manager, ensuring all costs are monitored and authorised to achieve budget and net operating profit targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: You will continuously review standard operating processes and policy to ensure optimal performance, promoting changes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Recording and Reporting: You will record and report accurate data to allow KPI and MI reporting, completing necessary payroll processes to ensure correct payment.
  • Self Development: You will complete PDRs every 6 months, engaging with Company communications and proactively liaising with peers to share knowledge and experiences. You will pursue personal development skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date in the industry.
