Job Overview

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that MedPharm's equipment and facilities meet quality standards and health and safety regulations. The Equipment and Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the fabric of the buildings, managing external contractors, and assisting with laboratory and facility modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain the buildings to the required standard, manage external contractors for maintenance and repair issues.
  2. Assist with equipment life cycle procedures, including onboarding, routine maintenance, contract renewal, and SOP drafting.
  3. Manage outsourced contractors for equipment, security, pest control, fire alarms, heating, cooling, air conditioning, and electrical fixed wire safety inspections.
  4. Ensure specialised risk assessments are carried out and findings actioned.
  5. Manage utility services to MedPharm's buildings.
Requirements:
  • GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) C / 5 or above in maths, English, and Science.
  • A level (or equivalent), and/or a degree in a science or engineering-related field.
  • IOSH training.
  • IT literate and proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience working with a GxP quality management system and equipment validation.
  • Able to carry out complex tasks without supervision.
Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
