About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to support the Investment and Fund Management teams at Ameriprise Financial. As a Real Estate Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in transactions, financial modeling, reporting, and investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Investment Teams to analyze property-level cash flow, including creating bespoke cash flow models and reviewing external models for accuracy.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc fund-level analytics, including scenario testing to understand sector weightings, liquidity management, and compliance with mandate restrictions.
  • Prepare slide decks and presentations for capital raising and investor updates.
  • Compile and generate information for investor reporting, including fund-level data points and assisting with macroeconomic and property market commentary.
  • Manage data across the Investment Team.
  • Assist with acquisitions and disposals.
  • Collect regular updates from the asset management team for reporting and debt reporting purposes.
  • Conduct ongoing research projects into macro trends, capital flows, and emerging sector trends.
Requirements
  • Degree-level education.
  • Ability to work autonomously, leading projects and delivering work items related to cash flow modeling and data collation.
  • Strong interest in the real estate sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess multiple data points.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to challenge and communicate effectively, influencing peers to deliver on operational risk responsibilities.
