Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Sarcoma and GIST team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with sarcomas and GIST, as well as leading our TYA Centre and Genome Diagnostic Service.

Main Duties
  • Provide expert medical care to patients with sarcomas and GIST, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Lead our TYA Centre, providing care to teenagers and young adults with cancer.
  • Oversee our Genome Diagnostic Service, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis of genetic disorders.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment options.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • CCT in Medical Oncology or within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
  • Demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English.
